The TIDEFIRE Experience

TIDEFIRE is a coastal sauna experience built around contrast: heat, cold water, fresh air and the rhythm of the sea.

Our galvanised steel sauna sits on the edge of the coastline, where weather, tide and temperature shape every session. No two visits are ever the same.

Inside the sauna, the heat is constant. Outside, the elements change:

Guests move between the warmth of the sauna and the open water, allowing the body to reset through cycles of heat, cold and rest.

It’s simple, powerful and deeply restorative:

Whether you’re coming after a surf, a run, a cold swim or simply to reconnect with the elements. TIDEFIRE offers a space to slow down and reset.

How It Works

Each session gives you time to move between heat and cold at your own pace.

Most guests follow a simple rhythm:

Heat

Start inside the sauna and allow your body to warm gradually.

Cool

Step outside and cool down in the sea or fresh coastal air.

Rest

Pause, breathe and let your body recover before returning to the heat.

This cycle can be repeated several times during your session.

There is no pressure to follow a strict routine. Listen to your body and move at a pace that feels right for you.

What to Bring

To make the most of your session, we recommend bringing:

  • Swimwear
  • Two towels (one to sit on in the sauna and one for drying)
  • Water bottle
  • Flip flops or sandals recommended
  • Warm clothing for after your session

In colder months, a robe or warm layer is also recommended.

Location

TIDEFIRE is currently located at Coastland in Mylor.

Set on a pebble and coarse sand shoreline, the sauna sits close to the water where the harbour opens out to the wider water.

The setting is simple, raw and exposed to the elements. Weather, tide and light shift throughout the day, meaning no two sessions are ever quite the same.

Guests move between the heat of the sauna and the open water, experiencing the changing rhythm of the coast.
